I have no idea as to the make or age of the wheel. I have had it for about 18 years, and have used it mostly for spinning demo's, very little "production" spinning.

I purchased it from a person who had had it for around 10 years as a decoration for her living room. She got it from her mother, who had spun.

Wheel mounts on a light weight luggage cart with buggy cords for easy moving.

When I purchased it I had to do some repair work to the treadle pivot points and clean several years of household cleaner off the surface.

Bobbin tension is adjusted by turning the finial on the left hand post, which is spring mounted so it will swing out of the way to remove flier.

Solid wood flyer, with "smaller" orifice and two offset rows of hooks. Includes threading hook.

I have been using "butcher twine" for a drive band with no problems or slippage.
